Vijayaraj is known for his notable roles in popular serials like Nathaswaram, Kolangal (Devayani starrer), and others. He rose to fame with director Thirumurugan's serial, Metti Oli, that ran over 850 episodes.
It is reported that Vijayaraj made a visit to his native Palani, to celebrate this year's Diwali. He encountered an unexpected heart attack yesterday night (November 3), who was soon declared as dead by the Doctors. Vijayaraj is survived by his wife and a girl child, Aishwarya.
This news has come as a shocker for everyone, and it is indeed a big loss for his family. It is said that his mortal remains would be brought to Chennai soon.
